The Lefties Workshop With Eric Jones

Eric Jones is 21 years old and already one of the most decorated young bowlers competing on the PBA Tour today. He has 10 regional titles to his name as a PBA member, plus an additional regional win as a non-member — and in 2026 he finished 3rd at the PBA Masters, one of the most prestigious events in the sport.

He is a left-handed two-handed bowler who uses urethane, reactive, and the backup ball. He taught himself the game through YouTube videos and trial and error. He was competing in U18 tournaments at 13. He won his first regional at 15. And when it came time to choose between college and professional bowling, he chose the PBA Tour — and has been proving that decision right ever since.
